One of the nice things about the way Table Rock Lake is formed, is that it has many narrow "arms" that branch off the main channel. Often times, these arms simply go back a little ways and then end. These areas are referred to as coves. The beauty of coves in general, and on Table Rock in particular, is that the bank next to them is usually a hill that protects the water's surface from wind that makes it "choppy".
People have discovered that the water near the back of coves is calm and relaxing. Because of this awareness, along with some fisherman, you'll see many floating slowly (or drifting) in a peaceful cove. Who knows, maybe you'll be one of these during your stay at our all new Branson Resort.
Fun Action-Packed Water Sports Boating
Although many enjoy a relaxing, peaceful, rest during the getaway, others are drawn to the excitement that water sports offers. Gazing across the main channel of the lake, one quickly sees that this is where the action is. Whitecaps roll along adjacent to boats pulling innertubes, wakeboards, and skiers as they zip across the surface of the water. All the while, you hear the cheering for the excellent stunts that are being attempted. This is another facet of boating on Table Rock Lake.
